Financial Seminar May 15-17

We have invited the Legacy Institute for Financial Excellence (The L.I.F.E. Group), from Douglasville, PA to conduct a three day "Stewardship Lifestyle Seminar" to provide you with useful information and encouragement in applying God's principles to your finances. The church will cover the cost of the seminar, there will be no cost to you. A free will offering will be taken. Here is a brief outline of what will be offered:

SUNDAY MAY 15
Morning sessions:
Worship Services Sermon: "Biblical Sequential Priorities"... managing your finances based on 5 timeless truths.
Adult Truth for Life class: "A Man With a Plan"... Biblical responsibility to have a financial stewardship plan for the family based on 1 Timothy 5:8.
Evening sessions:
6:00 pm "Parents: A Beacon to Follow"... practical application workshop giving parents the tools to teach your children to be biblical stewards. 7:00 pm "Free to Serve"... how to eliminate debt and set up a budget that works.

MONDAY, MAY 16
12:00 Noon: Seniors Luncheon "Avoiding Costly Mistakes" 6:30-8:30 pm "Basic Financial Choices and Retirement Planning". A two hour workshop on the basics of saving, investing, life insurance, and mistakes to avoid.

TUESDAY MAY 17
7:00-8:30 pm "Estate planning" from a Christian Worldview. This workshop addresses charitable giving, estate planning, and legal documents, the need for a "Christian's Will". We plan to have a Christian attorney present at this meeting.

IN ADDITION TO THE MESSAGES AND SEMINARS... PERSONAL FINANCIAL REVIEWS WILL BE AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT DURING THE DAY ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
Those who would like to can make an appointment to meet with one of the L.I.F.E. group to review your finances and discuss how to apply Biblical principles to your particular situation. These are free 90 minute sessions. There is no pressure to purchase additional services. Nothing is sold at these meetings. This is a service offered by the LIFE group and CBC.

A sign up sheet will be available in the back of the auditorium. Please plan to attend as many sessions as possible. Invite your friends and relatives who do not attend CBC. All are welcome. I believe our three days with the LIFE group will be a real benefit to your family!
