OUR PURPOSE: To bring people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and to
train them to be fully devoted followers of Christ.
- Calvary Bible Church is an independent, non-denominational,
non-charismatic Christian church.
- God's grace is a theme that runs throughout the Bible, and
thus it runs throughout our teaching at CBC. It is by His grace
that we can come into a right relationship with Him through faith
in Jesus Christ. It is by His grace that we can learn to walk with
Him and have victory over our sinful nature.
- God's Word is the foundation for faith and practice.
Everything we do and believe has to be in line with the teachings
of the Bible.
DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
- We believe in the verbal inspiration by the Holy Spirit of
all the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testament. Inerrant
in their original writings, they are the final authority in
faith and life.
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three
persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, and that He is
true God and true man.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins,
and that with His shed blood He obtained for us eternal
redemption.
- We believe in the resurrection of our Lord, in His
ascension into heaven, and in His present life there as our
High Priest and Advocate.
- We believe in the personal, pre-millennial, imminent
return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the total depravity of all mankind, and in
the necessity of regeneration.
- We believe that salvation is the free gift of God,
entirely apart from works, and is possessed by all who by
faith have received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal
Savior.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is the divine Person and
that He indwells in all believers.
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and
unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the
everlasting punishment of the lost.
